After moving to downtown San Diego from Salem, Oregon we find nothing negative. The weather is great, you can walk to everything and you make a small carbon footprint. Our gas and electric bills are under $30 per month and we don't use the car much. With the prices of downtown condos plummeting, now is a perfect time to invest in the future. Baby Boomers will be seeking alternatives to driving and heading for the cities. Check out the inventory. You can rent out the condos for close to your monthly.
